Courses at the Villa
All year round, even in summer, there are courses of Pilates, Postural gymnastics and Yoga, either individual or group courses (limited to 8 people).
MURIEL WAFFELEAERT COURSES
POSTURAL GYMNASTICS: A method of muscular strengthening and limbering up the deep muscles of the vertebral column. It alternates postures and stretching linked to respiration. This concentrated on improving the general body form. It’s very suitable for senior citizens because of the important work on maintaining condition and balance.
PILATES: A technique which tones the deep muscles throughout the body. Precise exercises work together with fluidity of movement, control and respiration, in order to work the abdominal area and the back permanently. Suitable to everyone seeking to find or rediscover a balance between body and mind.
The courses are limited to 8 people. Pilates classes are on Wednesday and Friday, from 10.45 to 11.45 am, during August and for hotel guests who would want to participate. Private courses upon request. You can get information and sign up for courses at the hotel reception.
From September, for people who are not guests at the hotel, there are Pilates courses on Thursday, from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm and on Monday from 6.30 to 7.30 pm. Postural gymnastics classes are on Wednesday and Friday, from 10.45 to 11.45. Inscription for these courses are just until 11 September 2010 – The classes start on Monday 13 September 2010.
